Today, on 20th November 2009, Google released the source code for its much hyped Chrome OS! Yes, the wait is almost over. During the presentation, public was given first look of how the Chrome OS will look on netbooks.
The Chrome OS for netbooks looks almost a browser, but it adds applications apart from browser tabs. Based on cloud computing, Google claim that there OS will load under 10 seconds and that their OS runs 60 times faster than Windows. Further, it was promised that more details about Chrome OS will be released in the coming months.
