Tweetup to Space, courtesy of NASA!

On Wednesday the 21st of October astronautsĀ  Nicole Stott and Jeff Williams, known as @Astro_Nicole and @Astro_Jeff respectively will be hosting a tweetup from 210 miles in orbit while traveling atĀ  17,227 miles per hour.

For those of you who are unaware (read been living under a rock for the past 2 years) a tweetup is an informal gathering of people who are on the social networking/micro-blogging medium known as twitter.

The tweetup will present attendees an opportunity to ask questions from the two astronauts about space and what it is like to live there and also get to meet the people behind @NASA.

The Tweetup will being at 10 a.m and will last till noon eastern daylight time. Hurry up to register since there are a limited number of places (35 to be exact) and it’s on a first come first served basis. Registration for the event opens at 10 a.m EDT on Wednesday.
