Infinity ward plans to release Modern Warfare 2 some time towards the end of this year. Judging from the screenshots and the videos that we’ve seen it looks pretty cool. Seeing as how studios really like churning out sequels MW3 is something that might be in the pre-visualization phase while MW4 is something that we are pretty sure will get a release sometime in the future.
MW4: Planning for the future
Exploiting this tendency of studios to churn out sequels members of the ZiiP Gaming community have taken the domain name modernwarfare4.com hostage so to speak. Their demands are simple. Give every member of the ZiiP community a free copy of the game. That’s some ingenuity right there.
Do as they say or the clown gets it
Now we don’t endorse this (well we say we don’t but secretly most of us do). You could call it black mailing like the studio and some other people have done but you have got to admit it’s a pretty deviously clever thing to do. With MW4 still some time away it’ll be interesting to see how this situation plays out and what agreement is finally reached.
