Downloading pictures of Flickr has always been a pain. The hassle in getting the bigger sized picture and the secured image spaceball.gif has irked me always. Thankfully, there are numerous ways of getting the best out of the best image sharing network on the web.

“Flickr Image Src Exposer” is a Greasemonkey script that makes Flickr use very easy. It provides image link for the default size and a link to all other sizes right at the bottom of photo. The default link can be used for file sharing purposes or downloading as well. The “All Available Sizes” link takes you to a new windows with all the previews of available sizes of the image and their links as well.

This makes downloading images really easy. If you don’t know what Greasemonkey is, you don’t need to be on this website. Jokes aside, Greasemonkey is a Firefox plugin that utilizes web-site specific (generally) user generated scripts to make browsing and the online experience much better. This Flickr script is yet another of the long list of awesome Greasemonkey scripts. Download both Greasemonkey and the script below.
