There is a later, better fix for this. Without removing the chip. They're selling video's of it on ebay, but you can find the solution for free if you search. It involves heating up the GPU with a torch, (while protecting surrounding circuitry with foil) then installing a piece of copper for additional heat-sink value. Piece of cake.
